Good Books Feed the Soul

My name is Neil and I LOVE reading. I have been an avid reader my entire life and love the feeling of finding a new story that I can’t put down. One of the best feelings to me is finding a new book I can’t put down because I NEED to know what comes next. In those moments, everything else just melts away.

To me, what makes a book stand out are the characters and subtleties of building a story. I love when I can read a characters motivations and understand their thought process because maybe I would’ve done the same thing. Add in the

My reading journey started way back with Harry Potter, but that was just the beginning. My mom actually PAID me to read the first book because I resisted reading so much and I’m SO glad she did. From there, my interest just continued to expand to new books, series, and authors.

I would say I fantasy, historical fiction, and some good mysteries are where I gravitated to more but as I got older, I really appreciated the intricacies of science fiction, the relationship dynamics in a good romance, and the fun of a good adventure.

I started this blog because I wanted to be able to share some great recommendations to help everyone find books they’d love based on other’s they’ve been interested in.
